When Jodi first met with Tara + John, one of the main things they told her was that they love being outdoors and, more specifically, fishing. In fact, this past summer, they were fishing in Canada when a rare tornado came through! I've been fishing in Canada, and a normal storm is enough to scare the bejeebers out of you, so I can't imagine how frightening this storm must have been.
We asked our neighbors if we could use their boat and pond for Tara + John's engagement session, and they just laughed. :) The pond was kind of mucky, and I'm pretty sure their boat took on water, but it all worked out fine for some fun fishing and outdoorsy shots.
